The SAM65 tweeter design is the result of a meticulous and time-consuming process, in which a fine fabric diaphragm is formed into a dome and coated with a special coating. The SAM65 tweeter delivers highly accurate, detailed, and nuanced high-frequency performance—the best in its class.
The SAM65 mid/bass driver features a sturdy solid aluminum frame with die-cast technology, paired with Recoil’s signature coated paper cone, also coated with a special layer. This cone is designed with precise geometric shaping to deliver smooth and even sound dispersion. The SAM65 mid/bass driver’s 1-inch voice coil uses ultra-lightweight aluminum wire wound on a Kapton bobbin, keeping the coil extremely lightweight and enabling very fast and responsive movement.
The SAM65 also features a high-quality audiophile-grade 2-way passive crossover. Components are selected based on the best sound quality. The highly precise tuning process and flexibility of the crossover allow the SAM65 to achieve peak performance.
